Parma and Marsing are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. Parma will be playing at home against Marsing at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parma will be strutting in after a win while Marsing will be coming in after a defeat.
Parma was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Horizon Christian, sneaking past 7-5. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Samuel Hultman
Samuel Hultman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Parma is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 1-4 otherwise. Hultman was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ethan Obenchain, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaydn Brenneck, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Marsing is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Vale. Marsing fell just short of Vale by a score of 7-6. That makes it the first time this season the Huskies have let down their home crowd.
Luke Steinmeyer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Chadez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Marsing is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Parma, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Parma came up short against Marsing in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 4-0. Can Parma avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
