The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for KIPP Bold City in their matchups with Global Outreach Charter Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
KIPP Bold City's loss came despite strong showings from Joel Hunt and Jabari Green. Hunt scored 15 points along with two steals, while Green scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Green has scored all season. Mikell Reddick was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
KIPP Bold City's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-12. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. KIPP Bold City will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Baldwin at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th. Baldwin comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Global Outreach Charter Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Parsons Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Parsons Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while Global Outreach Charter Academy is ranked 333rd).
