Despite the loss, Morro Bay still got an impressive performance from Justin Campbell, who scored 14 points. The contest was Campbell's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sergio Mendoza, who scored ten points.
Morro Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Atascadero, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-7.
