Warren moved up to 368 from 430 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northwest Upstate Illini - Upstate. The Warriors were able to make the jump by beating the Warriors 49-13.
Aquin Catholic extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Warren, 49-13. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Stockton's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jordan Fox threw for 33 and one touchdown and Ty Harmston had 13 yards receiving. On the ground TJ Knutson chipped in 212 yards. Andy Arnold helped Stockton's passing attack out by catching one ball for 11 yards.
Jacob Brunner made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Blackhawks topped East Dubuque. The 6-foot-2 senior recorded one fumble.
Stockton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blackhawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Fox has thrown for 206 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Arnold has four catches for 75 yards. Knutson leads the league in rushing with 764 yards.
A big matchup in Northwest Upstate Illini - Upstate this week will be when Ashton-Franklin Center takes on Aquin Catholic. The Raiders are in fourth place, while Todd Kramer's team is in second place.
Durand was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from ninth to sixth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs triumphed over Pecatonica 42-0.
