There's no place like home for the Carolina Forest Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past Myrtle Beach 63-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Sammy McGuire was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Allen, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Carolina Forest's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
