Sammy McGuire was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Allen, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Carolina Forest's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
