After losing to the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs the last time they met, the Plainfield Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Plainfield strolled past Lyman Memorial with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 68-53.
Lyman Memorial lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kevin Botticello , who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Botticello 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Chandler, who scored 17 points.
Plainfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lyman Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
