McKinney North extended their winning streak  to 18  on Friday, bumping them up to 31-3. They came out on top against the Lovejoy Leopards by a score of  3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-2  back in September.
McKinney North's offense was headlined by  Anna Sayman and  Chloe Lewis, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from  Jordan Kowallis and her 21 assists. Finally,  Nicole Jacobson kept McKinney North's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.
As for Lovejoy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 27-12. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 29-7 Walnut Grove (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 85.9% over those games).
 Despite the loss, Lovejoy still got an impressive performance from   Ava Perrin, who  had 15  digs and three  assists.
