Perhaps the best among them was Jonathan Berwig, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 assists. The matchup was Berwig's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mason Rowan, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Pompano Beach is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Fort Lauderdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Pompano Beach will head out on the road to face off against Coconut Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Lauderdale and Piper will face off at 7:25 p.m. on January 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Piper is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
