Rappahannock won against Westmoreland on Tuesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 16-0 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by eight runs or more this season.

Rappahannock's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Westmoreland, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Looking ahead, Rappahannock will take on Northumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westmoreland, they will face off against Essex at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
