Liberty scaled the state rankings by moving to 123 from 156 this week, the biggest jump in 4A Conference 22. The Eagles were able to move up by defeating Brentsville District 55-0.
Eastern View extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Fauquier, 24-17. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Leif Heltzel. The Fauquier star has 17 catches for 257 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Courtland takes on King George. The Cougars are currently in third, while the Foxes are in second.
Liberty led 4A Conference 22 in scoring this week by notching 55 points on the Tigers.
