White will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunset at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
White didn't get the result they wanted in their first game with South Oak Cliff on Saturday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 2-1 defeat on Saturday. It was the first time this season that they let down their fans at home.
Even though Sunset has not done well against Kimball recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Sunset didn't even let Kimball onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. That three goals margin sets a new team best for Sunset this season.
White's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-2. As for Sunset, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
White came out on top in a nail-biter against Sunset when the teams last played back in January of 2023, sneaking past 1-0. Does White have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sunset turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
