The Jefferson Township Broncos will be home for the holidays to greet the Horizon Science Academy Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Jefferson Township ended up a good deal behind Spring Valley Academy and lost 60-43. While losing is never fun, Jefferson Township can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while Spring Valley Academy is ranked 83rd).
Meanwhile, Horizon Science Academy earned a 58-50 victory over Shekinah Christian on Tuesday.
Jefferson Township bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Horizon Science Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
