In other batting news, Luke Witzel was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Lucas Johann, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Strasburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Alameda 11-3 on Saturday. Considering the Indians have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Coltrane Smith, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Reagan Rosier was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
Strasburg's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Weld Central, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Weld Central has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .464.
