Last Tuesday, Lee came up short against Pasadena and fell 74-64.
Meanwhile, Sterling's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 78-59 bruising from La Porte. While losing is never fun, Sterling can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1185th, while La Porte is ranked 307th).
Lee has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Sterling, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-12.
Lee came up short against Sterling in their previous meeting back in January, falling 63-57. Can Lee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
