Buford and Carrollton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Buford had to settle for second. They fell 30-17 to the Carrollton Trojans. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Buford lost, don't look at Justin Baker. Despite the final result, he rushed for 99 yards on only eight carries.

Carrollton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kimauri Farmer led the charge by rushing for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Farmer is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Aj Mcneil did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 93 receiving yards.

Buford's loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2. As for Carrollton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Buford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrollton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Grayson at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Both have allowed few points on average, (Carrollton: 13.8, Grayson: 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
