They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Staley. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since September 13th.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Liberty North and Lee's Summit West had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost four in a row.
Liberty North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-16.
Raymore-Peculiar will have to contain Olivia Derenzy as she made an impact in Liberty North's last game. She had 14 digs and two aces. Derenzy has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.
Liberty North's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Raymore-Peculiar, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.
