The Harrisburg Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Westran Hornets, and things went their way on Friday too. Harrisburg walked away with a 59-49 win over Westran. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harrisburg.
Westran's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marshall Kitchen, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds. Kitchen hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for five straight games. Trent Brandow was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Harrisburg is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Westran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.
Harrisburg will head out on the road to square off against Salisbury at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salisbury will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Harrisburg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Schuyler County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Westran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
