Despite the loss, Vanguard College Prep still got an impressive performance from Desmond Taylor, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Muriithi, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Vanguard College Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Stockton Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.
