Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Makena Cook stepped things up a notch to give Orange Lutheran the 'W'. Cook's passing production has been exceptional as that marked her sixth straight game with at least 308 passing yards.

Looking ahead, Cook and Orange Lutheran will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Huntington Beach at 5:00 p.m. The Lancers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Oilers thanks in part to Cook: she threw for 251 yards and six TDs while completing 72% of her passes.
