After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Weeki Wachee was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors, sneaking past 2-0. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Seven Rivers Christian's batters probably weren't too happy with Jayden Allen, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (he gave up a single walk). Allen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Weeki Wachee's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Weeki Wachee will head out to face off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Williston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
