Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Circle walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Winfield Vikings on Saturday. The victory is more of the same for the Thunderbirds, who have now won six contests in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Circle took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-10, 25-11.

Circle found their leader in sophomore Perry Haines, who had six digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Cate Rogers, who had eight digs and two aces.

Circle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pratt on the 24th. Winfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
