Baseball Recap: Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Has No Trouble Against Coastal Homeschool

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics barely beat Coastal HomeSchool the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats blew past the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes 10-0 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Austin Spears made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Spears was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season.

He has become a key player for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-5 otherwise.
