Meanwhile, Carter-Riverside's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 20th straight loss. They were outmatched by Western Hills at home and fell 55-11. Carter-Riverside was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.
Robert Rodriguez was Carter-Riverside's leading scorer, having posted five points. Rodriguez also led the team in assists with two.
Diamond Hill-Jarvis' victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-18. As for Carter-Riverside, they dropped their record down to 2-22 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Diamond Hill-Jarvis have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Carter-Riverside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 21.5 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
