The West Warwick Wizards will be playing at home against the Smithfield Sentinels at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
West Warwick came tearing into Monday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Coventry on the road to the tune of 61-18. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for West Warwick this season.
West Warwick found their leader in underclassman Calla Davide, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brea Lima, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Smithfield blew past Coventry, posting a 58-29 win at home. The win was just what Smithfield needed coming off of a 67-43 defeat in their prior matchup.
West Warwick has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Smithfield, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
