On Thursday, Northgate kept a clean sheet against Concord. They came out on top against Concord by a score of 2-0. The result kept Northgate happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 18th.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Mateo Gonzalez and
Brady Brown, who scored both of Northgate's goals. The pair have combined for a total of two so far this season.
Northgate now has a winning record of 6-5-3. As for Concord, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northgate will take on College Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. College Park's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Concord, they will be playing at home against De Anza at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
