He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brayden Leija, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Fairfield has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season. As for Teague, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
Everything came up roses for Fairfield against Teague when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 75-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
