Trinity Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 72-25 defeat at the hands of The Habersham School. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Trinity Christian has scored all season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Isaac Sherrod and
Nathan Suchovsky, who each put up seven points.
The Habersham School found their leader in underclassman Daniil Phillips, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Phillips has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hamilton Colley, who scored 12 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for The Habersham School, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Trinity Christian will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for The Habersham School, The Habersham School and Coastal HomeSchool will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Coastal HomeSchool is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
