The Silver Creek Raiders won the last time they faced the Independence 76ers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Silver Creek walked away with a 21-14 win over Independence.
Alonzo Hernandez was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown.
Silver Creek has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Independence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Silver Creek will head out on the road to face off against South San Francisco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South San Francisco will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
