In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Drew Woelfel, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. True Thurs was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Edgar has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. However, it's not like Marathon struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Edgar couldn't quite finish off Marathon in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 and fell 5-3. Will the Wildcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
