Bayshore and Booker are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. Bayshore will welcome Booker at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bayshore will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Bayshore took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against DeSoto County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Bayshore sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over DeSoto County on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Kaylam Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Diego Falcon, who scored a run and stole three bases.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Booker brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over Gulf Coast H on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Tornadoes as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Kennedy Cole was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Booker is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-7 otherwise. Cole was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Booker got a massive performance out of Joshua Azevedo, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-3. Azevedo is becoming a predictor of Booker's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-8 when he doesn't). Dameer Watford was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Booker always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gulf Coast H only posted an OBP of .333.
Bayshore's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Booker, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
