Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Newsome walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Plant City Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for Wolves, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Plant City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabrielle White, Nikita Church, and Sarah Widlak.

Newsome is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight contests. As for Plant City, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Newsome will face off against Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newsome will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Plant City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
