The Lake Placid Bombers will head out on the road to  take on  the Bolton Central Eagles at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lake Placid comes in on three and Bolton Central on nine.
 Last Friday, Lake Placid earned a  31-20 win over Crown Point. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  victory Lake Placid has managed all season.
  Kyra Jordon and  Margaret Thatcher were among the main playmakers for Lake Placid as the former  scored eight points along with 14  rebounds and the latter  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Thatcher  pulled down eight or more   rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Bolton Central didn't have too much trouble with Keene Central at home   on Friday as they won  36-18. Despite the  victory, that was the fewest points Bolton Central has scored all year.
 Bolton Central got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jadynn Egloff out in front who  scored 17 points.  Maille Kelley was another key contributor,  scoring ten points.
 Lake Placid's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Bolton Central, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Lake Placid took a serious blow against Bolton Central  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023, falling  51-14. The  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lake Placid was down  32-4.
