Grace Trombley was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Langlois, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Seton Catholic Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Schroon Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic Central on the road again on Monday and play against Keene Central at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Keene Central comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Schroon Lake, they will head out on the road to square off against Crown Point at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
