The Jim Ned Indians will face off against the Sweetwater Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Jim Ned's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Sweetwater's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Tuesday, Jim Ned made easy work of San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy and carried off a 21-1 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Tucker Deal made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Deal was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.
In other pitching news, Garan Millican looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Brady Wallis was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Lathen Hankins, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI.
Jim Ned always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy only posted an OBP of .238.
Meanwhile, Sweetwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Wall, falling 20-5.
Jade Rodriquez was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those doubles marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Rodriguez, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
The victory made it two in a row for Jim Ned and bumps their season record up to 12-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.5 runs. As for Sweetwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Jim Ned took their win against Sweetwater in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Does Jim Ned have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sweetwater turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
