Greenwood has won six straight games at home, while Cascade has won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Woodmen will host the Cadets at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Greenwood barely beat Perry Meridian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Woodmen blew past the Falcons 16-4 on Wednesday.

She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Like Greenwood, Cascade also got a great game from a two-way player: Grace Parks. She struck out nine batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Parks was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Greenwood hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Cascade struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.2 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Greenwood suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Cascade when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Will the Woodmen have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
