Mike Newby Game Report: vs Williamsburg

Cardinal Newman came out on top against Williamsburg on Wednesday thanks in part to Mike Newby's efforts. Newby scored a run while going 1-for-1, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Coming up, Newby and Cardinal Newman will take on St. John Paul II Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardinal Newman has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
