The Frontier Falcons took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They really took it to East for the full four quarters, racking up a 77-30 victory at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-10.
Despite the loss, East still got an impressive performance from Jussean Pearsall, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Pearsall scored a full 56.7% of East's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Frontier's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for East, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier will take on Lake Shore at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East, they will be playing at home against Tapestry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
