Tri-Valley has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flanagan-Cornell took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Tri-Valley, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Tri-Valley made off with a 54-53 victory over Lexington.
Flanagan-Cornell has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Heyworth on Thursday. Flanagan-Cornell has not had much luck with Heyworth recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Flanagan-Cornell saw an underclassman step up: Logan Ruddy scored 18 points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Mason Rich, who scored nine points.
Tri-Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. As for Flanagan-Cornell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.
