Even though Seacrest Country Day scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, Gulf Coast still came out on top. Gulf Coast took their game against the Stingrays 66-59. Given Gulf Coast's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Stingrays are ranked 720th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gulf Coast's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. As for Riverdale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
