Adding to the longest winning streak in 3A Region 4 this week, Louisville beat Columbus 21-10,. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Wildcats.
Kemper County and Velma Jackson played the closest game in the league this week, with Kemper County eventually emerging with a 30-26 victory.
Nettleton's dynamic duo of Dakota Cruber and Levert Jernigan proved to be unstoppable against Kossuth, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Cruber threw for 97 yards and Jernigan had 74 yards receiving.

Wesley Ross was the best running back in the league this week. In 27 carries, he ran for 105 yards as South Pontotoc bested Kossuth. Josh Estes also contributed to the rushing game with 22 yards on the ground.
Ross was a passing and rushing force as the Cougars fell to Walnut.
Jernigan was the best wideout in 3A Region 4 this week as Mike Scott's team beat Brian Kelly's team.
Cruber put up the best numbers through the air as the Tigers topped the Aggies.
Nettleton's Cruber and Jernigan have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Cruber has thrown for 1,168 yards this season, while Jernigan has 38 catches for 555 yards. Louisville's Demarcus Brooks leads the league in rushing yards with 346.
The Wildcats made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,696 from 5,010. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 30-26 victory over the Falcons last week.
