Baseball Recap: Sheridan Has No Trouble Against Philo

Sheridan lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Philo, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's match. The Generals were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Electrics on Wednesday. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Connor Roshon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Logan Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Another player making a difference was Noah Wamer, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Sheridan's record now sits at 6-1. As for Philo, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
