The Winter Haven Christian Warriors were the 43-29 winner over the Real Life Christian Academy Raptors when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Winter Haven Christian lost to Real Life Christian Academy at home by a decisive 25-10 margin on Thursday.
Real Life Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Alsene out in front who scored 9 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Alsene has scored at least 25% of Real Life Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leylanie Rosier, who scored 7 points.
Winter Haven Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Real Life Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mater Brighton Lakes Academy the next time they take the court. Winter Haven Christian will head out to face Mater Brighton Lakes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Real Life Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
