Basketball Recap: Tenor Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tenor entered their tilt with University Lake/Trinity Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past University Lake/Trinity Academy with points to spare, taking the game 65-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-58 back in January.

Tenor got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dae'Jon Jones out in front who shot 57% from the field en route to 32 points in addition to six boards and four steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least a third of Tenor's points. Another player making a difference was Isidro Guerra, who shot 6-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds.

Tenor's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for University Lake/Trinity Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Tenor has already played their next contest, a 94-91 defeat against St. Anthony on the 19th. As for University Lake/Trinity Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-47 loss against Veritas/Tenor on the 17th.
