 Placer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bear River, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
 Placer will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Twelve Bridges at 4:00  p.m.  on April 3rd. As for Bear River, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Lindhurst at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Bear River's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3  runs per game  this season, so Lindhurst's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
