Meanwhile, Toledo's and Reedsport's game last Friday was close at halftime, but Toledo turned on the heat in the second half. Toledo took their game against Reedsport by a conclusive 40-16 score. Toledo were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Toledo's win lifted them to 3-2 while Gold Beach/Pacific's loss dropped them down to 0-4. In their win, Toledo relied heavily on sophomore Jaxon Rozewski, who passed for 326 yards and 5 touchdowns. Gold Beach/Pacific will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
