Branford made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,481 from 7,676. The advance stemmed from a 43-12 victory over Lyman Hall last week.
Hillhouse's dynamic duo of Je'Vaughn Moore and Andre Anderson proved tough for Law to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Moore threw for 18 yards and Anderson had 18 yards receiving.
Eric Zergiebel was the most productive running back in Southern Connecticut Division II - West this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 219 yards as Guilford bested the Lawmen. KC Horton also contributed to the rushing game with 105 yards on the ground.
Thanks to the talents of Dj Ryan and Alex Borkowski the Hornets have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Ryan leads the league in passing with 183 yards, while Borkowski has rushed for 518 yards this season. Hillhouse's Daryn Horner leads the league in receiving yards with 70 on four catches.
Tom Dyer's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Law. Anderson ran for 135 yards in the win.
