Goshen hasn't had much luck against Northridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Goshen RedHawks will take on the Northridge Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Goshen played in conference for the first time on Thursday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They came out on top against Mishawaka by a score of 44-32.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Goshen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sueann Watt, who posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards Watt has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Yordy, who earned 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Northridge had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Pilgrims/Rockies as they made off with a 60-37 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 23 points or more this season.
Goshen better keep an eye on Lily Scholl. She was instrumental in Northridge's win, going 10 for 14 en route to 27 points along with six boards and five assists. Scholl is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Camryn Conley was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.
Northridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive games.
Northridge's victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Goshen, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Goshen has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 22.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Northridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.3 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Goshen took a serious blow against Northridge when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 62-17. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Goshen was down 47-8.
