Make it six blowout wins for the Hazen Highlanders this season. Everything went their way against Interlake on Friday as Hazen made off with a 57-34 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Hazen has posted since December 19, 2023.
It was another big night for Dakota Nap, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenna Garrett, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
The win got Hazen back to even at 9-9. As for Interlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hazen will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Lake Washington at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th. As for Interlake, they will challenge Redmond at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
