There's no place like home for the Alhambra Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Washington on Saturday as Alhambra made off with a 68-44 win. With that victory, Alhambra brought their scoring average up to 54.7 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alhambra to victory, but perhaps none more so than Geo Alber, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Samuel Gillaspy was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
When it comes to explaining why Washington lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jacob Domingcil. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Korey Abantao, who scored 6 points.
Alhambra now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Washington, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alhambra will challenge San Marin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington, they will head out on the road to face off against Homestead at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Homestead and Washington are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
