Like South Hunterdon, Palmyra also got a great game from a two-way player: Steven Peltz. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Peltz was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.
In other batting news, Palmyra got a massive performance out of Anthony Morgenstern, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Justin Dellisanti was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three RBI.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South Hunterdon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. However, it's not like Palmyra struggles in that department as they've averaged .380. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
